White Paper, Webcast Link Engagement to Profits
It’s stunning to realize that disengaged employees cost the US economy an annual $300+ billion. But, how can an engaged workforce contribute to profits and the bottom line?

A new white paper from the Enterprise Engagement Alliance and Human Capital Institute entitled The Economics of Engagement provides a comprehensive analysis of research in the field of Enterprise Engagement and offers how-to information on benchmarking tools that can quantitatively measure the benefits of employee and customer engagement. These measurement tools are critical to demonstrate the bottom-line impact of enterprise engagement, both to corporations and to the economy as a whole, using financial language that senior executives, investors and economists embrace.

“Engaging the enterprise; promise makers, promise keepers and customers; has always made sense intuitively,” says Todd Hanson, President and Founder of Catalyst Performance Group. “Now we can illustrate the financial impact to an organization and use the findings from this paper and others to guide the intelligent design of performance improvement initiatives. The net result is improved alignment within the organization and better ROI for incentives, rewards and recognition, meetings and events.”

Join the webcast "The Economics of Engagement - Measures That Make the Difference," on Wednesday, June 24, from 2pm-3pm EDT where the report will be reviewed and highlighted.

Measuring a Meeting's Return on Investment
“In this economy, very few legacy programs will continue without being scrutinized,” says Todd Hanson, President and Founder of Catalyst Performance Group, a people-performance management company in Appleton, Wis. To Meet or Not To Meet
"In these times, with the intense scrutiny, many companies may be cancelling [meetings], but they may not have all the facts," says Todd Hanson, President & Founder of Catalyst Performance Group, a company that specializes in helping companies maximize the value of meetings and conferences.
"There could be a heavy price for that. There currently is this categorical condemnation of [meetings] as junkets. If we can monetize them and demonstrate the ROI, now you have a tool that gives you evidence of their value." Read More...

Introducing iScan© for Enterprise Incentive Management
iScan
© is an enterprise management tool that provides for the inventory and audit of incentive programs within an organization. The data collected in iSCAN© provides leadership with a comprehensive aerial view of their incentive programs in addition to an assessment of each program, an evaluation of the aggregate and an action plan that includes recommendations for improvement.

Rarely do organizations draft comprehensive, cogent strategic plans for the deployment of incentive programs across the enterprise. Explanations for this may include the lack of time, the lack of collaboration among organizational silos and the desire to be nimble and responsive to a dynamic marketplace. Regardless, lack of a comprehensive strategic plan can create fragmented and misaligned programs. The net result is often ambiguity, confusion, wasted money and, at times, disengaged participants - all of which can negatively impact program results.

iScan© helps leadership identify program goals and objectives, review their implementation and measure them against a consistent set of evaluation criteria. Contact Jim Bufton to learn more.
